This is a bit off topic for this blog, but I happened to read today on Reuters that climate change could encourage rampant problems for those of us that need a strong cup of coffee in the morning. Scientists report that rising temperatures in the tropics due to climate change are likely to encourage the proliferation of the coffee berry borer, one of the crop's most devastating pests. Ugh. Talk about a great reason to go green as soon as possible....
